2. British Superbike Championship
The 2004 British Superbike Championship will consist of two competitions:
The British Superbike CHAMPIONSHIP and the British Superbike CUP (formerly the Privateers Cup).
The technical regulations are identical for both competitions.

Registration and financial details will be announced in the New Year.
3. Classes
The following will form the 2004 British Superbike Championship content:
- British Superbike Championship/British Superbike Cup
- British Supersport Championship
- British 125GP Championship
- National TT Superstock Championship (No control tyres, No control fuel, otherwise technical regulations as per 2003)
- Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup
Guest support class:
- Eastern Airways Sidecar Championship (subject to contract)

4. Television
The following television broadcast arrangements are confirmed:
BBC TV Grandstand
Deferred highlights of British Superbike Championship.
SKY Sports
LIVE/AS LIVE coverage (plus repeats) of British Superbike and British Supersport Championships and Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup.
Deferred highlights of British 125GP and National TT Superstock Championship within magazine show (as per 2003).
5. 2004 Season Preview Day
A public preview day incorporating testing for the 2004 British Superbike, British Supersport, British 125GP, and National TT Superstock Championships plus the Virgin Mobile Yamaha R6 Cup is planned for Sunday 14th March 2004 at Donington Park Circuit.
6. Further information
Registration documents and further information detailing entry fees, the final calendar, prize fund and passes will be sent to all 2003 registered teams and riders in the New Year, if you wish to be added to this list then please contact us.
Please note that the offices and contact details of MCRCB Events will be active from 09.00am on Monday 5th January 2004.
