The Motorcycle Circuit Racing Control Board (of Great Britain), today announces its new events management and commercial operation called MCRCB Events Ltd.  

MCRCB Events  has been established to create, manage and organise motorcycle circuit racing championships and events, at National and International level, both in the UK and overseas. 

It will work closely with competitors, teams, promoters, venues, the media and the motorsport industry in general, in order to deliver high quality championships and events.

Its 2004 portfolio will initially consist of the Championship and event management/organisation of the 2004 British Superbike Championship, the organisation of the Cinzano British Grand Prix (British round of the FIM MotoGP World Championship) and the two FIM Superbike World Championship events held in Great Britain.   Additional events and business activities are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Commencing on Monday 5th January 2004, MCRCB Events will be staffed by Stuart Higgs and Claire Fennell who will transfer from their current positions held with the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC).    The offices of MCRCB Events will be at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire.
