MCRCB Judicial Decision

During the Superbike Warm up, rider number 67 was reported to not have observed the finish of session signal (two chequered flags, presented at the finish line and marshals post 2). Rider 67 passed the chequered flag 45 seconds after the prescribed finish time of the session.

Rider number 67 passed the following flag conditions:

Yellow flags presented at posts 19 (still), 20 (waved), 21 (waved) and 22 (waved).

Additionally the red flag was presented at post 22 in the circuit, as standard procedure to indicate that the circuit was closed.

Rider no. 67 went on to complete a further lap.

The Judicial Clerk has imposed a penalty of a loss of eight grid positions to be applied to both Superbike races.

The rights of appeal were advised.

No appeal was received in the prescribed time period.

The decision is confirmed.
